 Judy Wood is an established animal artist based in the Canadian prairies. Her media include, but are not limited to, glass mosaic, collage, painted tiles and cast relief works, all on animal (chiefly horse and dog) themes. Judy shows her work regularly at the world's premier show jumping event, the Spruce Meadows Masters, and her mosaics have been hung at the Fall Juried shows of the American Association of Equine Artists in Lexington, Kentucky. The mosaic works have also been featured in several British and American mosaic books, and in equine art magazines in the US.
Judy is an animal owner (two Boxer dogs, and two cats) and an active horse owner and rider (Canadian Warmblood, schooled in dressage, and TB retired) who finds constant inspiration for her work in her daily activiites and interactions with the animals in her life.
